JOB interviews are nerve-wracking at the best of times, and for those who see themselves as introverts it can be extra intimidating.

This is not due to a lack of skill or competence. It’s simply that the ability to think on your feet and sell yourself - undoubtedly important in the interview process — tends to come more easily to those who go through life a little more extroverted.

Connar Walford, student success lead at the jobs and career advice website TargetJobs, offers the following five strategies that introverts can utilise to ace a job interview:
