India to lead in shaping 6G technology regulations: Scindia

Union Minister of Communications Jyotiraditya Scindia on Saturday said India will play a pivotal role in shaping global regulations for 6G technology, as the country continues to lead the telecommunication revolution under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership.

Speaking on World Telecommunication and Information Society Day, Scindia noted that India has rapidly embraced 5G technology, reaching 82 per cent of the population across 99 per cent of districts within just 22 months.
“India will take the lead in tailoring the rules for 6G technology in the coming days,” he said.
