Australian cricketers who returned home after the suspension of the Indian Premier League (IPL) will be supported by Cricket Australia (CA) if they choose not to return for the remainder of the tournament, according to a report in the Sydney Morning Herald.

All Australian players across IPL teams have now arrived back home, though some former players like Ricky Ponting and Brad Haddin, currently part of coaching staff, remain in India. Others, including Justin Langer and Mike Hussey, have returned amid heightened border tensions between India and Pakistan.
