Assam: 13 arrested over ‘Pro-Pak’ online posts

At least 14 people have been arrested in Assam so far for making ‘seditious comments’ in the wake of the Pahalgam attack, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said on Saturday.

Sarma stated that if necessary, the detainees could be charged under the National Security Act (NSA). ‘Bharat and Pakistan are enemy nations, and must remain so,’ he told reporters at a BJP event. He warned that anyone making anti-India remarks
