West Coats Primary had the most average points among schools, while Newton Primary were top of the total points leaderboard.

Beat the Street CamGlen saw 9295 people of all ages get involved in the giant active travel competition, working together to walk, cycle and wheel as far as possible for points and prizes in a real-life six-week long game.

Together, the community clocked up an astonishing 83,046 miles.

Despite narrowly missing the mileage target, this means that Kilbryde Hospice will receive a grand total of £500 from the game’s organisers.
