Participants in the active travel game that is currently turning the towns of Cambuslang and Rutherglen into a real-life walking, cycling and wheeling competition are invited to Go Wild this week!
The six-week event invites all local residents to ditch the car and travel shorter journeys on foot or by bike to score points and prizes.
Each week of the game is themed when it resets on Wednesdays this week is 'Go Wild' which encourages people to explore their parks, waterways and green spaces.
Participants can score double points in parks and green spaces this weekend on Beat Boxes 15, 33, 35, 36, 37, 40, 44, 50, 51, 52, 53, 55, 59, 62, 64, 66 and 68.
The free game is creating a real buzz across the two towns and thanks to the continued efforts of players who have hit the mileage target of 45,000 miles, organisers will donate £250 to Kilbryde Hospice. If players can now reach the target of 85,000 by the end of the game, a further donation will be given. Currently, the 8806 players taking part have exceed 56,000 active travel miles!
