Starmer has shown a strong work ethic

PHONE-BANKING for Labour for the upcoming Runcorn and Helsby by-election, it was disheartening to hear so many people just wanting to vent their anger, giving me no opportunity to put a little perspective in to their complaints.

Starmer has shown a strong work ethic

I'll just concentrate on one angry complaint that “Starmer is never in the country.” Yes, he’s out of the country a lot trying to garner support for a “coalition of the willing” to come to the aid of Ukraine.

He's trying to improve our trade deal with the EU, which is essential if we are to achieve the necessary growth in our economy.

He's visited Trump to discuss a trade deal and also the invasion of Ukraine. Sir Peter Westmacott, a former British ambassador the US, called this one of the “most consequential meetings of a British prime minister and president that we have had since the second world war". It’s hard to justify criticism of any of these overseas’ visits.

As the MP with the highest earnings outside of Parliament, this provides more opportunities for grifting and, of course, to visit and support his best mate Donald Trump or, as he claims, “to promote Clacton on the world stage.” Best keep quite about them wanting to come in and knife you then, hey Nige!

If only potential Reform voters would look at the policies of what they want to achieve and how, they would realise that Reform would be the catastrophe for Britain that Trump has been for America.
