Skipper Teague plays on with 'unfinished business' of promotion back to NPL the target for next season

RAMSBOTTOM United's preparations for another tilt at promotion to the NPL received a boost this week when skipper management team - Andrew Teague agreed to continue with the club for the 2025/26 season.
The captain - who was also part of Steve Wilkes' team - played an influential role in the Rams push for promotion last term, which saw them eventually miss out in the end-of-season play-offs.
The 39-year-old had considered retiring this summer, but having gone so close to securing promotion last time out, he feels there is 'unfinished business' to attend to.
"Last season was about helping the current squad improve while learning from the manager in my role as assistant manager," said Teague.
