Kairo departs as Dale reveal retained list

AIRO Mitchell was the stand-out name among the players released by Rochdale as the club announced the retained list following the conclusion of the 2024/25 season.

The frontman netted 14 goals in the Vanarama National League last season, an impressive enough return - nevertheless, he was a player who split the fanbase in terms of his overall contribution to Dale’s style of play.
Also leaving the club is defender Kyle Ferguson, who showed potential during his time at the club but never nailed down a regular starting place.
