Band prove they are among top brass at contest

LITTLEBOROUGH Brass Band has strengthened its growing reputation by successfully defending its title at the 2025 Holme Valley Brass Band Contest, held in Holmfirth on Sunday 27th April.

Following on from last year's win, the band once again impressed by delivering a winning performance to secure first place in Section C for a second consecutive year.
Under the baton of Musical Director Ashley Higgins, the band gave what the adjudicator described as a "performance of real merit with control and drama" of the test piece I, Daedalus by composer Andrea Price.
