IT IS WITH a heavy heart and deep reverence that I pen this letter following the passing of Pastor Manny Pillay, senior pastor of Miletus Full Gospel Church.
His departure has left an indelible void in the hearts of many — in the church and beyond — who were privileged to witness his life, his labour and his unwavering devotion to God and His people.
Pastor Manny was more than a preacher; he was a statesman of the gospel —a true shepherd after God’s heart.
His ministry was not confined to the pulpit but was manifested in the streets, homes and hearts of the community he so faithfully served. His love for God was deep, passionate and unwavering, but what made it truly powerful was that it was matched by an equally profound love for God’s people.
