Dr Taj Hargey should explain how is the BJP involved in his personal battles. Problems within Islam are not the BJP’s circus, not its monkeys, unless it clashes with the Indian constitution. Reflexively flashing the victim card and recourse to ingrained blame game is risible.

The lines “what would the Muslim parents think ... at the school”, reflects the thinking of the “appeasement brigade” of Gandhi and his acolytes, down the decades, to the Congress Party in India, dependent on its “orthodox Muslim zealots” vote bank. Consequently the Shah Banu fiasco, among many, compelled AM Khan, (activist for progressive reform for Muslims, especially the treatment of women), to resign from Congress.
