● Seenavasan Munien Naicken, 65, of Chatsworth, said he started donating blood in his early 30s.
He donated his 100th pint of blood on June 8.
“At the time, I was inspired when the blood bank visited my workplace. After hearing about how you could save a person’s life, I was encouraged on that day to donate blood for the first time. I have not stopped since then.
“Being a donor has brought me inner joy and a sense of fulfilment, especially when I think about how many lives I have possibly saved so far.
