THE Magazine Barracks Remembrance Committee and ex-residents recently came together to commemorate a significant milestone - the 60th anniversary of the relocation of residents.
The occasion was marked with a grand gala event, filled with nostalgia, celebration and a sense of community spirit.
Six decades ago, a significant event in the community's history took place, of residents, by the notorious Group Areas Act.
