Honouring the unseen pillars of society

THE Unsung Heroes Publication Board launched volume three of its book series, The Unsung Heroes, on Sunday at Sastri College, aimed at honouring individuals who have transformed lives without seeking recognition or reward.
Fawzia Peer, the board’s founder and project leader, said in a world where noise often drowned out significance, it was essential to turn one's attention to those who worked quietly yet powerfully at the heart of communities.
"These are the unsung heroes. This sentiment echoes through the pages of the newly-released book, a publication that shines a light on the remarkable acts of service that often slip under society's radar."
Peer said across communities, there were individuals who moved quietly, yet powerfully, offering care, compassion and commitment without expectation of reward or recognition.
