More Park strife as Hawks stay in relegation zone

Hawks remained in the relegation zone after suffering a third home loss of the Southern League Premier South season.

- by Simon Carter

The club slipped into the bottom four without playing on Tuesday, and suffered a 3-2 Westleigh Park defeat to Hanwell 24 hours later.

That represented a sixth loss in 11 seventh tier games in 2025-26, compared to only 10 in 42 matches last term.

Indeed, Shaun North's strugglers have already lost as many home league games in five fixtures as they did in 21 last season.

Defensive issues remain the biggest problem, with Taunton, Uxbridge and now Hanwell having scored three times at Westleigh Park.
