The first baby bank in Portsmouth has announced it will be stopping the service at the end of this month.

Baby Basics in Portsmouth and Havant have been helping support families who are struggling financially for the past 10 years. Parents who have been referred to them are supplied with essentials such as nappies and clothes for their babies.

But the charity has said it will no longer be taking referrals and will stop the service on October 31.
