Ngwana Babyhouse: Caring for the most vulnerable for 20 years

Ngwana Babyhouse will celebrate its 20th anniversary on March 1, and has invited readers to visit the facility to learn more about the work they are doing.

Ngwana Baby House celebrates 20 years.

According to housemother Sandra Jansen van Rensburg, the need for such a home was first identified by a former pastor of the Apostolic Faith Mission of South Africa.

After discussions with the church's welfare project, the house was opened and the premises made available to care for babies.

Ngwana Babyhouse started with six babies up to the age of two, and has grown over the years to accommodate 28, which is also the maximum allowed number for the facility.
