Classic cars turn heads at Distinguished Gentleman's Drive

The Limpopo Classic Car Club (LCCC) hosted a successful Distinguished Gentleman's Drive (DGD) in and around the city on Sunday, raising money and promoting awareness for men's health in support of the Movember initiative.
A group of 29 cars departed from Grounded Container Bar, stopping over at The Ranch Resort and finally returning to the starting point for the prize-giving.
The car of the day was Jannie van Waveren's 1961 Datsun 1200 Bluebird, Ben Olivier and Yolanda Tiersma walked away with the prizes for the best dressed gentleman and lady, while Pieter Smith was crowned as the best moustache.
Light beverages were on the house and the guests took their seats for either a steak and chips or a chicken schnitzel with cheese sauce and rounded-off with malva pudding and custard.
