HMP Perth prisoners' art will go on public display

Art created by HMP Perth prisoners will go on display at a Kinross church this weekend.

The free exhibition at St Paul's Episcopal Church, called Inside Out with Pride, will be the first time the artworks have gone on public display.

It features work by former service personnel serving custodial sentences at HMP Perth who have been taking part in the armed forces charity Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Families Association (SSAFA) art therapy programme.

The show, in aid of the armed forces LGBT+ charity Fighting with Pride, is the second such exhibition to be held at St Paul’s Church.

Last year’s inaugural Inside Out show saw around 90 pieces of work hung in its gallery space, most of which were sold, netting almost £1000 for SSAFA.
