Bright sunshine, tiny hands, and boundless energy transformed a bare verge outside the International School of Cape Town on Monday 15 September as thirteen eager gardeners got to work.
Guided by parents and leaders, the Meerkats planted cuttings of Salvia Leucanthus and Spur Flower.

They weren't professional landscapers, but members of the 1st Claremont Meerkat Scouts, the youngest branch of Scouting in South Africa, aged five to seven.
