O'Hara happy to be written off in chase for top six... as Saints love defying pundits

Mark O'Hara feels the underdog tag suits St Mirren after being written off to finish in the top six.

The Buddies skipper believes that, by putting this label on his side, it will allow them to go about their business in the Premiership quietly this season.

If the feat of reaching top six is achieved again, that will make it a stunning four top-half finishes in a row under Stephen Robinson.

During his time in Paisley, O'Hara hasn't been fazed by any predictions thrown the club's way as he says it is a regular occurrence at the start of the season to be ignored when it comes to achieving relative success.

The midfielder said: "I think since I've been here, a lot of people have written us off most seasons.
