Shamal: Lack of goals is one of Saints' problems

Shamal George has pointed to the lack of goals being one of St Mirren's main issues.

The Saints shot-stopper, on loan from EFL League One side Wycombe Wanderers, isn’t laying the blame solely at his strikers but as a collective.

It is a sentiment that has been backed up by his gaffer, who also pointed to the lack of clinical finshing being an issue for the team.

"We're the lowest goal scorers in the league. It's not aimed at the strikers because from set-pieces, everywhere all over the pitch, we should be scoring more goals," he said.
