Running man Adam hands cash to charity

A Renfrew man who ran the equivalent distance of Paisley to Preston has raised almost £2,500 for a mental health charity.

Adam Donnelly undertook the feat in December-running every day for 30 days to raise funds for Scottish Action for Mental Health (SAMH).

The Express previously reported how Adam, who also runs a popular TikTok account called AdamDonnellyFitness with over 87,000 followers, documented the 300 kilometres journey on the social media app as well as explaining why he did it.

He said the goal was to “break the stigma around mental health” and help people open up.

Having undergone struggles of his own regarding mental health and anxiety, Adam was looking to use his platform for good and to raise awareness.

Now, having tallied up the total of £2,486.25 and donated it to the charity, the personal trainer admits it was one of the hardest challenges he's done but developed a love for running when going through it.
