Dad of motorcyclist killed in crash makes safety plea

A dad has told of his heartbreak after his son was killed in a motorbike crash - admitting it "changed everything" for the bereaved family.

Ross Dominick, 35, who was himself a father-of-three, was out riding with friends when he was struck by a car on the A82 pulling out of the Buachaille Etive Beag car park in Glencoe on July 23, 2023.

The keen motorcyclist from Johnstone was tragically pronounced dead at the scene.

Two years on from the tragedy, Ross’ father Ian is backing a campaign by Police Scotland which is raising awareness of the risks for motorcyclists.

He said: “Ross was just an ordinary guy doing what he loved - out on a sunny day on a motorbike with his friends.

“And he never came home.

“We're not the same people we were before - it changed everything.
