Robinson: We're in a relegation battle now

Stephen Robinson has told his St Mirren players they are in a relegation battle.

The Buddies boss didn’t mince his words after Saturday’s dismal 3-1 defeat to Dundee at Dens Park.

Robbo's men last won in the league at the end of September—against the Dark Blues—and he says it’s a scrap for survival for the time being rather than looking towards the top six.

Since making the final of the Premier Sports Cup, Saints haven't picked up a point and the gaffer's had enough.

"The results aren’t acceptable," he said. "We've not got a point since we got to the final.
