More than ever set to go on the run in town

A record-breaking number of runners have signed up for this year’s Paisley 10k road race and fun run.

At least 4,700 people will hit the streets on Sunday, August 17 for an event hailed by runners as the “most fun” of its kind in Scotland.

And entries are expected to grow further still with registrations remaining open until Friday.

The 10k and fun run organised by OneRen, supported by Renfrewshire Council and Kilbarchan Amateur Athletics Club - is one of the biggest dates in Paisley’s sporting and events calendar, while many of the fun runners will also be collectively raising thousands of pounds for charitable causes.
