FEBRUARY FIXTURES 'WILL DECIDE SEASON'
St Mirren Women head coach Kate Cooper believes the small differences and changes in every game are what have allowed her side to grow.
The Buddies started off the season on a poor run and had to wait until the middle of October to get their first win — a 1-0 victory at Dunfermline Athletic.
It was a testing time for the squad, sitting in 10th place, but the experience of last season’s triumph and heartbreak helped keep Cooper's hopes high.
Last season, Saints raced out in front at the top of the Barclays League One table after an impressive start to the campaign.
When the winter break hit, the Buddies were at the summit but, after a number of medium to long-term injuries, the squad had to be full rebuilt.
