Lifeline resource for people with dementia

Carers of people living with dementia are being urged to put in place measures to assist police should their vulnerable loved one go missing.

Renfrewshire police are calling on families to fill out a Herbert protocol form which features key information which would assist officers in their search.

The form asks for information such as places of importance to the person with dementia, often visited places, health issues and places they have been found in the past if reported missing.
