COUNCIL LAUNCHES REVIEW OF PROCESS

Work on the removal of certain crossing points in Renfrewshire has been suspended as a review of the engagement process is progressed.

It means four locations - which affected Williamsburgh and St John Ogilvie primaries; East Fulton Primary and Linwood High; Howwood Primary and Inchinnan Primary - are not at risk at this time.

The reprieve follows an amendment by SNP council leader Iain Nicolson that received unanimous agreement among elected members at a recent meeting of the infrastructure, land and environment policy board.
