Conservation works approved for church

A series of planned works at the historic Kilmacolm Parish Church have been given the go ahead by Inverclyde Council, it has been confirmed.

A report of handling by the local authority said:"The roof light windows are located on a prominent public elevation; however, they are located on as a subordinate single-storey element of the building.

"The roof light windows are conservation style which are of appropriate scale, position and design and will be fitted flush.
