Plans to replace two tennis courts with three for padel at a health club in Renfrew have been approved by Renfrewshire Council.

A bid for planning permissionsubmitted by Lichfields on behalf of David Lloyd Leisure - has been granted subject to conditions.

It means the project, which will also include floodlighting and associated works, can now go ahead at the facility in Arkleston Road.

A report of handling by the council's chief planning officer explained: "This application seeks planning permission for the replacement of two tennis courts with three padel courts, floodlighting and associated works at David Lloyd on Arkleston Road, Renfrew.
