Church to host special blessing for pets

An East Renfrewshire church is hosting a special service which will be dedicated to pets.
-
Barrhead's Bourock Parish Church on the town’s Main Street will hold a ‘blessing of the pets’ service on Saturday, July 5, from 2pm.
Pet owners are invited to bring their “furry, feathered, scaly or slightly slobbery” friends to the church grounds for a special celebration.
