Historic Johnstone Castle was the scene of recitals by the famous composer Frederic Chopin

I was saddened to hear of the death of legendary Italian tenor, Luciano Pavarotti, whose voice beautified a world all too often blighted by evil.

The inspirational words of his most famous song, Nessun Dorma - None Will Sleep - extols the eternity of the human soul and proclaims that the spirit of musical maestros lives on forever in their works.

Among immortals like Pavarotti in heaven's chorus is Polish pianist and composer, Frederic Chopin, whose memory will never die, thanks to a triumvirate of feisty Renfrewshire sisters.
