Buddies are being warned the use of e-scooters in public places can land them in trouble with the law.

Police Scotland has warned people that, while it is legal to purchase an e-scooter, the use of them is only permitted on private land.
Officers are cracking down on the usage of the motorised scooters on roads, pavements, parks, town centres or promenades as they do not meet the necessary legal standards.
