Christmas lights switch-on is back on a Saturday with festive extravaganza
Let there be lights! For Paisley's Christmas lights switch-on return is being held today.
And it marks the first time in six years that the festive extravaganza is taking place on a Saturday.
A live stage, which will be set up to provide music and entertainment, will launch the event this afternoon from 1pm.
Headlining will be hugely popular Celtic rock band, the Red Hot Chilli Pipers.
There will also be performances from Johnstone Brass Band, Angela Duncan, Artie's Singing Kettle, The Swinging Santas and Feeva.
