Airport's future plans taking off

Along with several of my fellow Scottish Labour MPs, I visited Glasgow Airport on Monday to meet with the airport’s management team to learn about their future plans.

I have been pleased that over the past six months we have seen the airport open some new destinations and look forward to more becoming available to holidaymakers and businesses to make full use of Scotland's premier transportation hub.

I was also pleased to hear that Glasgow Airport are again running a job fair on Wednesday, January 28, offering jobseekers the chance to explore more than 500 exciting roles across the airport campus.

The ticketed-only event will take place on the first floor of the Glasgow Airport terminal from 9.30am, bringing together over 28 employers from a wide range of sectors including security, retail, facilities management, catering, ground handling, and transportation.
