OHPC, WAPCOS tie up for 600-MW power project

As part of the Union government’s ambitious plan to generate 500-gigawatt renewable energy by 2030, an agreement was signed between Odisha Hydro Power Corporation (OHPC) Ltd and WAPCOS Ltd Friday for consultancy services for the operation of 600-MW Upper Indravati Pumped Storage Project at Mukhiguda in Kalahandi district.
The agreement was signed in the presence of Deputy Chief Minister Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo, Development Commissioner Anu Garg, and Energy department Principal Secretary Vishal Kumar Dev.
