Officers to face salary cut for delay in projects

A DEDICATED REGIONAL TEAM WILL BE FORMED TO REVIEW THE STATUS OF DELAYED PROJECTS UNDER RD DEPARTMENT
Rural Development (RD) Minister Rabi Narayan Naik Sunday directed officers to ensure completion of construction projects within the stipulated time, saying delays would result in salary deductions.
While reviewing the status of projects in all 60 divisions under the RD department during a state-level meeting here, Naik directed officers to make sure all construction projects must be completed within the stipulated time while maintaining high quality standards. “Delays would result in salary deductions for the officers,” the RD Minister said.
