KID'S DEATH AT CAPITAL HOSP SPARKS PROTEST

The melee resulted in injuries to several protesters, according to reports.

The deceased was identified as Ayushman Sahu, son of Asish Kumar Sahu, an auto-rickshaw driver, and Ranjita Sahu of Salia Sahi.

The child was brought to the hospital by the parents after he fell ill Sunday, said reports, adding that doctors prescribed some medicines and discharged him. However, Ayushman’s condition deteriorated around 3am following which his parents rushed him to the hospital again.

“The attending doctor gave our son some medicines, which caused reactions,” said Asish.
