OPTIMISM OVER US-IRAN NEGOTIATIONS

Gold prices rebounded by ₹3,000 to ₹1.56 lakh per 10 grams in the national capital Friday, and silver advanced by ₹10,000 to ₹2.55 lakh per kilogram as signs of a diplomatic breakthrough in the US-Iran standoff rekindled interest in the precious metals.
According to local marketmen, the yellow metal of 99.9 per cent purity climbed by ₹3,000 to ₹1,56,900 per 10 grams (inclusive of all taxes) from Thursday's closing level of ₹1,53,900 per 10 grams.
