2 arrested for hostel warden’s murder

Police in Mayurbhanj district have arrested two suspects and recreated the crime scene in the brutal killing of a hostel warden, officials said Sunday.
The accused, identified as Sanyasi Jena, 19, and his brother Shukadeb Jena, 21, were produced in court after the reconstruction exercise. A minor, who allegedly assisted the accused, has been presented before the Juvenile Justice Board in Baripada, Additional Superintendent of Police Ajay Barik said.
Police seized two knives, a plastic pipe, two mobile phones, a motorcycle, a motorcycle and cash amounting to ₹28,823 from the accused, officials said at a press briefing held at Baisinga police station.
