Two taken to hospital after crash shuts major road in city

TWO people were left in hospital by a crash in Nottingham that closed a major city road.

Valley Road remained closed yesterday between Hucknall Road and Nottingham Road, near the City Hospital, following the crash at around 8pm on Sunday.
Nottinghamshire Police say a van and two cars were involved in a collision. The force believes one of the vehicles involved then collided with two further vehicles in Wallis Street and at the junction of Arnold Road and Queensberry Street, Old Basford.
