Top-rated burger chain plans to take over historic city site

AN award-winning national burger chain is getting ready to take over a historic Nottingham building.

The Beefy Boys wants permission to make changes to Grade II-listed premises in Queen Street in the city centre.

The building, sandwiched between the Manahatta bar and Bill’s Restaurant, was occupied by George's Great British Kitchen until September last year.

The Beefy Boys, founded by four childhood friends, has five sites in England, including Oxford, Hereford and Bath.
