Stalker Belfield facing £45k damages claim from victim

A COURT hearing on whether convicted Nottingham stalker Alex Belfield will have to pay as much as £45,000 to one of his victims will now not be held for nearly three months.

Theatre blogger Philip Dehany is pursuing a High Court claim for damages against Belfield as he alleges that the former BBC presenter carried out a campaign of harassment against him from December 2019 to March 2021.
