Salon banned from 'butt lift' injections after 'unsafe practices' found by investigation

A NOTTINGHAMSHIRE salon has been banned from carrying out non-surgical Brazilian Butt Lifts (BBLs) after an investigation revealed “unsafe practices”.

Zayaani Aesthetics and Training, based in Carlton, was served with a prohibition notice by Gedling Bor-ough Council’s Public Protection Service.

The document bans the beauty business from carrying out or train-ing others in non-surgical BBLs, a procedure where patients are injected with fillers in their buttocks.

An investigation carried out by the council found the business lacked properly-trained staff, appropriate equipment and the ability to man-age complications during or after the procedure.
