NOTTS BOSS PROUD TO SEE TEAM BATTLE BRAVELY FOR OVER 70 MINUTES AFTER NORBURN'S BIZARRE RED CARD
-

NOTTS COUNTY were once again edged out by Chesterfield on an afternoon the Magpies lost Oliver Norburn to a red card - for throwing an opponent's boot off the pitch.
The midfielder was already carrying a caution following an earlier challenge when he saw yellow for a second time in just the 19th minute of a game between two League Two playoff hopefuls at Meadow Lane.
Referee Matthew Corlett was once again reaching for his cards when a challenge with Chesterfield’s Armando Dorba saw the Albanian lose one of his boots, which Norburn quickly proceeded to throw into touch as the game continued.
Dobra appeared to be the villain of the afternoon. He was accused by the home crowd of feigning injury during a previous tangle with Norburn before cupping his ears in front of the Kop after starting and finishing the 16th-minute move which ended with him firing Dilan Markanday's cross past James Belshaw to put the Spireites 1-0 ahead.
