'Not good' Nuno's update on injury for Reds ace

The 33-year-old was ruled out of Saturday's FA Cup quarter-final win over Brighton & Hove Albion due to a hip problem. And head coach Nuno Espirito Santo has admitted there is a question mark over whether he will be available for tomorrow night's Premier League clash at home against Manchester United (8pm).

Wood sustained the injury while on international duty for New Zealand on Monday.

He landed awkwardly and hurt his hip and ribs when swivelling for a shot during the All Whites' World Cup qualifier victory over New Caledonia.
