MACARONE is not to be missed in the Try Racing TV For Free Now Handicap at Ayr.

Life is sweet for Macarone in a shot at Ayr Handicap

This will be his second start for Ivan Furtado, his first one and first anywhere for 240 days - being a creditable second over seven furlongs at Wolverhampton in June.

That was also a first at that trip, which stretched him, so back to a more suitable six furlongs he must go close.

It is hard to get away from the claims of Arabian Poet in the Unibet More Extra Place Races Handicap at Kempton.

Bred to be very good, unfortunately for his powerful connections it was fairly obvious from his moderate two-year-old bow he would not be living up to his one million guinea price tag.

Better if not spectacular next time out, he was off until reappearing at Doncaster in July, an absence of 274 days, during which time he was gelded.
