COUNCIL TO HIKE THE PRICE OF ADMISSION TO ITS HERITAGE SITES

NOTTINGHAM City Council is planning to increase the entry fees for Nottingham Castle, Wollaton Hall and Newstead Abbey next year - with a new £144 ticket being launched.

In addition to planned increases for its heritage sites , the city council is also planning to increase costs at all its car parks apart from Broad Marsh.

Adult admission to Nottingham Castle, Wollaton Hall or Newstead Abbey is £15, which grants entry for a year.

From April next year, the price will rise to £18 per adult, under plans for the council’s next budget.
